Happiness Fits Opens Applications for Campus Ambassador Network to Empower Akungba Student Creators

University students in Akungba-Akoko will soon have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand representation, community marketing, and digital operations through a new Campus Ambassador Network launched by fashion retail enterprise Happiness Fits. The initiative, which opened applications today, aims to empower local student creators by giving them direct involvement in real-world retail campaigns and community engagement.

Selected ambassadors will work alongside the executive team of Happiness Fits to execute regional marketing campaigns and build community engagement across local campus networks. This approach marks a shift from traditional promotion channels, as the Akungba-based startup seeks to engage student leaders directly.

"The ambassador program is structured as an experiential learning initiative for young creators in Akungba," said Ajayi Olumide, Co-Managing Partner and Head of Ambassador Operations. "Our goal is to offer students practical exposure to project management, brand strategy, and public relations while representing an active retail enterprise."

The program includes several core components: professional development through direct participation in digital marketing, event execution, and community management; designated brand ambassador roles for student creators across Akungba-Akoko and regional campuses; skill acquisition workshops focused on creative leadership and retail strategy; and community networking opportunities with local entrepreneurs and brand strategists.

Applications are open to university students residing in Akungba-Akoko. Selected participants will undergo an orientation process before launching campus-focused initiatives during the upcoming academic term.

Happiness Fits, co-founded by Oluwabunmi and Ajayi Olumide, is a fashion retail enterprise based in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. The company specializes in the design, retail, and regional distribution of streetwear apparel and lifestyle accessories.

By investing in student ambassadors, Happiness Fits is not only expanding its brand presence but also contributing to the professional growth of young people in the community. The program is expected to create a pipeline of skilled talent for the retail and marketing sectors in the region.

Interested students are encouraged to apply early, as the program aims to select a diverse cohort of ambassadors for the upcoming academic term.
